2007-05-24

Nowadays everybody in Germany is happy about the decreasing number of smokers. Is this a result of the final prohibition of smoking at public places and restaurants? No it is obviously mainly because smoking is just too expensive as taxes on tobacco are rising. And furthermore, another topic remains: alcohol. Alcohol is Germany’s most common drug and it is also drug number one on the hitlist of teenage users. Officially youth are allowed to buy and consume beer and wine at the age of 16 and ’hard’ alcohol when they are 18.
